Just about enough about me...

The most important thing I create is an environment where great work happens routinely.

My idea of a good day is one spent helping people and brands communicate their ideas more effectively. As both a leader and an individual contributor, I have helped a start up evolve into an ad tech category leader and a legendary FM radio station transition into a cross-channel digital experience.

 

I am relentlessly, eternally optimistic. I enjoy solving problems but more than that–I enjoy learning about what problems other people and brands are facing. I actively mentor and coach my creative teams to help them master their current roles and prepare them for the roles they will ultimately move on to.

The solution is always in the problem.

I’m a Bay Area native who recently relocated to SoCal with my wife and three children. I intend to raise them to boo the Dodgers. I’ve been a drummer since my teens playing in bands including Blueland, Low Rise, Debased (Pixies tribute), Red Trade, Sci Flyer, Full Fathom Five (Stone Roses tribute), Matthew Edwards & the Futurists, Pretty In Pink (Psychedelic Fur tribute) and a 20-year  stint as Barely Larry in Zoo Station – The Complete U2 Experience.
